Shop Notice

Distinct bathrooms have put in place a strict hygiene policy during the COVID-19 outbreak and are doing our utmost to reduce the risk to both staff and customers. This includes having a strict social distancing principle between staff and customers. Our staff are also reminded to use the Personal Protective Equipment provided.

Customers should be assured we have every intention of fulfilling our duty even if we have to postpone trading for a short period.

Our showrooms are now open. However, if for any reason the showrooms are not open during the outbreak, or you have any concerns, please feel free to contact us by leaving a voicemail or sending an email to enquires@distinctbathrooms.co.uk

Employee Policy

Distinct bathrooms management will do their utmost to restrict the impact both financially and health-wise on their staff, sub-contractors and customers during the Coronavirus outbreak. Distinct bathrooms will follow government guidelines and keep those affected informed.

All customers we will be visiting in the next few months will be made aware of our policy. Customers will feel more at ease if they know our staff are following strict hygiene practices.

Below are a few practices we’d like you to follow:

Fitting staff

  • Wash hands regularly.
  • Avoid touching customers personal items.
  • Avoid food and drinks provided by customers.
  • Avoid direct contact with customer.
  • Maintain a distance of 2 metres or more between yourself and either another staff member or customer.
  • Use PPE when possible.
  • If you start to feel even the slightest bit feverish, phone in and stay at home for 14 days as per the government guidelines.

Shop staff

  • Wash hands regularly.
  • Avoid direct contact with customer.
  • Maintain a distance of 2 metres or more between yourself and either another staff member or customer.
  • Staff must blow nose or wipe face in the washroom and flush tissues down the toilet immediately, do not put used tissues in the bins.
  • Items touched by yourselves and customers must be cleaned (door handles, samples, pens, keyboards etc.)
  • Food waste including packaging must be disposed of in the kitchen bin.
  • Use PPE when possible.
  • If you start to feel even the slightest bit feverish, phone in and stay at home for 14 days as per the government guidelines.
